Day at the Beach Bracelet
Blue and green sea glass bracelet in gold
This delicate bracelet resembles a day at the beach for me. The golden sand, shiny sun and wonderful blue, turquoise and green shades of the ocean all come together in this piece. I used some of my loveliest shards of genuine sea glass. All the pieces stem from the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. The sea glass is set in 9 carat solid yellow gold and connected with 14 carat gold jump rings. The pebbles are made of 9 carat gold and decorated with a lace motif. The bracelet belongs to my collection "Maritime Gold".
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
